We are currently looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a high degree of initiative to join our team as the Information Technology (IT) Manager. In this role, the IT Manager has overall responsibility for Accucam’s IT operation. This position involves partnering with all departments in order to determine the technology infrastructure and software needs for the business. Your ability to lead the development and implementation of the IT department’s multi-year plan will define the success of this role.


  • Managing IT department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, organizing and coordinating the allocation of resources;
  • Lead all software implementation including next generation ERP systems;
  • Partner with all departments to determine and analyze business requirements;
  • Leads the development and implementation of the multi-year technology plan, including ways to identify and implement process improvements that drive quality, efficiency and reduce costs;
  • Advising on Potential Upgrade: Recommend software improvements, upgrades, and implement new features for optimal performance of company hardware & software;
  • Project leadership and process management of IT related company initiatives, including the definition and implementation processes dealing with onboarding, procurement, deployment;
  • Develops and maintains policies, procedures and application related documentation for all IT systems using best-practice and standards;
  • Acts as a process liaison between departments and the Management Team; builds and maintain highly effective relationships with all departments, coordinate all user activities, support and train end users;
  • Oversees the design of the technology infrastructure according to business needs, including the evaluation of new technology solutions;
  • Manage network administration including servers, desktops, and communication systems;
  • Develop and test disaster recovery scenario;
  • Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including the development of annual IT operating and capital budgets and strategic direction;
  • Adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape by assessing and implementing continuous improvements to systems and security ensuring compliance with industry standards;
  • Manages internal IT staff and external technology partners, providing direction and leadership including monitoring and evaluating performance, setting objectives, technical support, direction, and problem solving for team members in achieving the teams stated goals and objectives;
  • Provide proactive monitoring and maintenance on all IT systems including servers, hardware and software implementation;
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all systems;
  • Planning, ordering, installing, monitoring and reviewing contracted work by outside agencies;
  • Resolves escalated problems to ensure speedy resolution of outstanding issues and rapid response to customers (internal and/or external);
  • Provide technical support for all systems and communications, including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, VoIP devices, VPN, cellular phones, fax etc.



  • A diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences;
  • 5-8 years progressive experience in an IT operations role, preferably in a project management, warehouse or manufacturing environment;
  • Microsoft MCSE/MCSA Certification;
  • Proficient in programming languages, specifically SQL;
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, including leading and coordinating multiple projects, influencing non-direct reports and peers, and ensuring on-time delivery;
  • Solid experience in ERP implementation, system integrations, upgrades, testing, and network operations;
  • Ability to take ownership, demonstrate sense of urgency and drive operational excellence;
  • Ability to identify and propose new technology solutions;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop staff;
  • Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing training and guidance to employees on IT related concepts and issues;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to ensure updates on progress and status of activity to stakeholders on a regular basis;
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service;
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices; and
  • Exceptional research skills.
